Whether you’re a seasoned vegan or just dabbling, these Ubud gems will leave your taste buds singing.
Here are 5 must-visit vegan restaurants in Ubud that perfectly balance flavor, sustainability, and Instagram-worthy vibes:
1. Plant Bistro
What to Order: Salmon Bruschette, Gnocchi di Zucca, Zuppa Toscana
Location: Near the starting point of the Campuhan Ridge Walk and Tjampuhan Spa
Full Disclaimer: I ordered the Salmon Bruschetta from Plant Bistro every day for over 2 months (that should tell you everything you need to know about how I feel about this spot. It's a cozy and colorful spot that brings fresh, wholesome vegan dishes to the table. Known for its atmosphere and handmade pasta, this place (and their Salmon Bruschetta) is NOT to be missed.
2. Zest
What to Order: Anything with Jackfruit in it (it's their specialty!)
Location: Near Plant Bistro, perched above Campuhan Ridge.
Zest feels like a serene treehouse, offering stunning jungle views and a laid-back vibe. It’s a great spot to relax after a morning hike. Their plant-based pizzas and hearty bowls are a fan favorite, and the airy, open space makes you feel like part of nature. Try to grab a couch!

Kick off your shoes and get cozy in one of their cozy booths, because this is the spot for morning journaling, afternoon work (my favorite place for a slow morning with a good book and some space to let the creative juices flow). Their fantastic vegan menu is a bonus!
5. Alchemy
What to Order: Mango Chia Pudding or create your own salad at their inconic salad bar.

Grab your computer and bring along some friends because not only is Alchemy is a wonderful spot to grab a bite, but it's also one of my favorites to catch up with a friend or get some work done.
