Ubud is the city for indulgence, and shopping here is no exception. After six months of exploring its boutiques and hidden gems, I’ve put together a list of my top picks. From handcrafted jewelry to sustainable loungewear and festival-ready pieces, these spots are worth a visit.
Street style and day club apparel: Veresa
My go-to for pieces that strike the perfect balance between effortless cool and standout style. Whether it’s a laid-back day or a night out, Veresa has something that makes you feel like the main character.
Recommended item: their knitted dresses and micro shorts never miss!
For loungewear: Indigo Luna and Studio K
Everyone and their mother shops here—and for good reason. Sustainable, comfy, and versatile enough to transition into low-impact workouts, these brands have become a Bali staple (and half of my wardrobe)...
Recommended item: the Layla Flares from Indigo Luna and the Rib Shorts from Studio K (coming from someone who has them both in every color)
For swim: Thaikila
Despite some mixed reviews, I had a great experience here. Thaikila’s swimsuits are stunning, high-quality, and have lasted through plenty of wear. My only complaint? The prices are more in line with US swimwear compared to other Bali options.
Recommended item: the entirety of their Oceané collection
For thrifting: Honey B
If you're a sucker for a good slip dress and cowboy boots, this is your spot. I could (and have) spent hours here. Honey B carefully curates its collection—small but never overwhelming, with the perfect vintage finds.
Recommended item: anything from their slip dress collection!
For a souvenir you'll actually use: Cacao + Kimono
Cacao is a must no matter where you are in Bali, and what better way to enjoy a cup while shopping an iconic collection of kimonos?
Recommended item: it's all in the name, babe
For festivals and parties: SHINE by Ashamaya
Did you really go to Bali if you didn't go to a festival? This is my go-to for all things cool-girl (especially because the fashion is eco-friendly).
Recommended item: their backless dresses like this one have won me many-a-compliments
For jewelry: Munay Creations and Meisou (just a few stores away from each other)
I swear that the crystal jewelry I bought from these shops guarantees me good luck on the days I wear it—who am I to keep that secret to myself? Both shops offer beautiful, handcrafted pieces just a few steps from each other.
Recommended: Their citrine earrings!
